Board Meeting 2/25/20

    1. Do not yet have quorum, but getting started anyway
  3. Old business
    1. Merch table
      1. We got $150!
      2. Carina will donate it through website… (notes section: from Carina, on behalf of sales from Usdan merch table on 2/20)
    2. Program design
      1. Lulu will talk to her friend (Hasanti Kelly) again
    3. Flyer + FB event for record fair
      1. Lulu will get on this
    4. Training
      1. Info session this past weekend went well!
      2. First training sessions this week 🙂
    5. Antenna
      1. New antenna being delivered next week
      2. Most of the work will be done over our spring break
      3. $10,000 estimate seems right, but seems like university will cover it

  4. New business
    1. New merch!
      1. Lucy de Lotbiniere
    2. Pledge drive
      1. Should plan to get started on this as soon as we come back from spring break
  5. Other updates
    1. New director at Allbritton center, new provost (both positions we work closely with) are both people we have solid relationships with! 
    2. E2020: Clifton continuing to push it
      1. Think about people we know who have been doing public affairs work, and how we might be able to get them involved…
    3. Events
      1. Anthony Fantano
        1. Not going to do it for under $6000, so seems like it’s not going to work out…
      2. Senior student’s mom (Andrea Bernstein) works at WNYC and is doing a talk at Gordon Career Center… asked us if we would have a WESU person moderate
      3. Concert with PDG, Joann Fabrix, Sam McCarthy!!
        1. Trying to figure out venue
        2. If we could attempt to open it up to the public, that would be absolutely ideal (used to be able to at Eclectic)
        3. Other possibility: Max 650 (Brandon Rizzo – tiny box productions)
