Babe/VP

  • Prof. Alden’s class — any DJs who want to volunteer time/slots to show a student the ropes for a class centered on radio production? The Wild Wild (5-6pm) slot should be open

Meg/Program

  • Transitions: Show up 15 minutes before your show and plan on letting the DJ after you into the studio 5 minutes before the end of your show. Try to end on a PSA or Promo to make the switchover as easy as possible!
  • On the schedule, slots highlighted in gray are automated. If you are before or after an automated show, make sure you are bring the pot down right at the start of the hour or up right at the end of your show so that the pre-recorded material doesn’t get cut off.
  • – Email or text me ief someone after you is a no-show and I’ll reach out to them! My contact info is in studio A on the bulletin board.
  • -If YOU can’t show up to your show, try and find coverage as soon as you can. I think it’s usually easiest to reach out to the DJs before and after you, or the DJ that alternates with you. If that doesn’t work, you can email the WESU listserv.
  • -Some of you have contacted me regarding pre-recording. Email the board if you want to set up a time to go over how to do this. We always prefer that you come in live to the station for your show, but if you have to pre-record, make sure you send your show to Rick (programmanager@wesufm.org) at least 24 hrs before your show.
