WESU Fall Season 2023

WESU’s fall program kicked off in September, and since then we’ve been airing a full slate of new and returning freeform shows from our student and community DJs! Along with our original programming, we’ve continued to broadcast informative public affairs shows from sources like Pacifica and NPR.

This season, we’ve been especially excited about the return of Wild Wild Live!, our Friday night live music show. The show had sadly gone off the air as a result of the pandemic, but we’ve finally brought it back and we’re so happy to have live music playing at WESU once again. We’ve also continued to bring back more DJs into the studio for live broadcasting. Nothing beats live radio!

Since WESU is a community-supported station, we’re gearing up for our Fall Pledge Drive. We’ll need listener support to keep our station operating, and we’re hoping for an especially successful drive as we approach our 85th anniversary next year, which we hope to be a special celebration as WESU fully returns to its pre-pandemic heights. We’ll be kicking that off in November, so stay tuned for more information soon.
