    • This will require us to go off air for at least 24 hrs
    • Meeting with contractor tomorrow morning
  • WESU E2020 Grant Opportunity
    • Money for programs to explore issues relevant to 2020 election
    • Ideas: Roving reporter? MYRP? Hometown fieldwork projects – travel production expenses!!
  • Pledge Drive
    • Thanks to everyone who has helped get us this far, especially those who have made their own donations
    • This drive has been tough one due to a few things: no matching gift, BM and board being spread thin w 80 anniversary stuff, and no big checks. BM thought 80th anniversary would create enough momentum but alas it has not
    • BM will publish the grand list of donors so folks can take stock and see who if their shows are represented
    • If your program has not brought in a donation, we’re asking you to go out of your way to make an effort to bring in at least one donation. That means think about all the people you know and identify 2-3 folks who are interested in your radio show and in a position to support your volunteer work here!
    • We need to make a concerted effort to raise the final $3500 remaining – It’s not enough to just left listeners know we need their support
      • Tell them how much money we still need to raise.
      • Tell them how successful you have or haven’t been in. “If I could just raise one donation in support of my program, it would go a long way towards helping ups close out the pledge drive”.
    • Let’s get a few new promos, specific to rallying our supporters to close out the drive.
    • BM will send one or two more emails to our stakeholders. Combined with our social media assets we can close this out soon, so we can focus on the good stuff!
