PRESS RELEASE: Fall into Winter Pledge Drive 2025
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
WESU Fall into Winter Pledge Drive – 2025
This season WESU Middletown is excited to announce our Fall into Winter Pledge Drive! Listener support is essential to our stations’ ability to continue to broadcast unique music and public affairs content. Our most important form of support is from listeners like you. Our goal for this drive is to raise $25,000, and we would appreciate your support. If you love WESU’s legacy of providing listeners with freeform content produced by student and community DJ’s, please donate to the station’s biannual pledge drive.
WESU has been working on many exciting projects and we need your support to continue. Volunteers on the Board of Directors are training new DJ’s, supporting community music events and projects, planning our biannual record fair and promoting the station and individual shows through updated merchandise. Donations are especially important now in support of public, freeform radio as funding to major broadcasting stations like NPR is being cut. Please help us secure our future and the future of freeform radio. The station currently broadcasts at the frequency of 88.1 FM from its 6,000 watt transmitter located atop the Wesleyan University science tower in Middletown, CT with a potential to reach over one million listeners throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts. WESU also streams audio, online through their website www.wesufm.org.

Secure donations can be made online at https://wesufm.org/pledge/ or by sending a check or money order directly to WESU Radio, 45 Broad Street, 2nd Fl, Middletown, CT 06457. As always, be sure to tune in to WESU Middletown 88.1FM, broadcasting 24/7. You can listen to WESU’s live stream at www.wesufm.org, or access any show at https://wesu.streamrewind.com for up to two weeks following the initial broadcast. You can also find the digital program guide at www.wesufm.org/schedule.
