Spring Pledge Drive!

Our Spring Pledge Drive is underway, and your donation will help ensure that WESU remains a vital source of independent media in the Connecticut River Valley and beyond.

Whether you’re tuning in for alternative public affairs programs, experimental music, or local voices you won’t hear anywhere else, WESU offers a refreshing alternative to commercial media. It’s a space where ideas flourish, creativity thrives, and marginalized voices are amplified—free from corporate influence.

Nearly 100 volunteer broadcasters and a small paid staff keep WESU running 24/7. Our modest budget supports a full-time General Manager, a part-time Engineer, and a part-time Program Manager. Despite minimal resources, we consistently deliver rich, diverse content to thousands of listeners each week.

Thanks to our successful Fall pledge drive and generous alumni, we’ll unlock a $5,000 matching gift when we reach the $20,000 mark (2/3 of our goal). After this, every donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar, until we reach our $30,000 goal. We’re currently about 15% of the way to raising the funds needed to reach our goal — Every dollar counts, your contribution will make a difference.
